Rain cap

RC (Rain Cap). The Rain Cap is designed for basic flue protection against rain or snow, although it allows free flow of the smoke and fumes. This model feature side screening, that keeps birds and animals out of the chimney and also keeps larger sparks from exiting the chimney. Bolt down tops for easier cleaning.

Wall thickness should not exceed 1 inch. Otherwise choose

CHIMNEY CAP: SkyRider

SR (SkyRider©). SkyRider Cap turns its head depending on wind direction protecting your chimney with front skirt and living open space at rear for easy ventilation. As air moves over that cap, it creates low pressure of air at the top of the chimney. That effect cures downdraft and shifts residual fumes. SR is able to cure not severe downdraft problems and provides rain protection.

DM (DraftMaster© with a cone). DraftMasters are specially designed to solve downdraft problems. It will cure all downdraft problems that are cap related and most of the problems that are not cap related. If tall trees or tall neighbor house causes wind to change direction vertically and it get inside of your flue to make downdraft, DraftMaster easily solves this type of problem. This cap is stationary, no moving parts inside.

Mounting belt, securing the cap in its place, has to be installed ~4" below top of the flue so installation require at least 4" of exposed flue length.

AirManager

AM (AirManager Cap©). AirManager Cap is capable to cure downdraft problems that are cap related. The way it is built, AirManager will not allow gusty movements of air inside of the flue and it limits excessive updrafts providing smooth air flow.
This cap is stationary, no moving parts inside.

All dimensions provided in inches. If you prefer metric system, divide your measurements by 25.4 for millimeters (mm) or by 2.54 for centimeters (cm).
Example: you measured inside diameter of your chimney crown 152mm (15.2cm), 152mm/25.4=6in or 15.2cm/2.54=6in.

SkyRider shaft Maintenance:
Clean as needed (once every 3 years recommended) and lubricate with a graphite based lubricant. Do not use petroleum base grease.
